Hey there! We're Justin and Nicole Bigelow - teachers, dog & cat parents, and small business owners. Behind the scenes, you'll probably be dealing with me, Nicole, while Justin is working on our punch list (or taking the dogs on a walk). If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook, you'll find the pretty pictures on our feed, but our Stories are basically a dog fan page - sorry, not sorry.
A little about us - Justin is extremely extroverted and doesn't know a stranger, while I consider myself an introverted extrovert, meaning I can socialize with you, but I'll need to spend the entire next day not speaking to anyone. My go to drink is champagne, Justin's is coffee - rich and black. We both teach 6th grade at a rural school in Northern Indiana, English for me, Justin teaches math. I love a good theme, and Justin is always down for whatever I throw at him. We're big advocates for adopting rescue animals. The only way you'd ever know we won the lottery is if we suddenly had a house full of pets (we currently have cats Bo Sox and Josephine Votto, and dogs Lincoln Lou and Betty Brees.)
We hope the pieces we handcraft become part of family traditions, handed down to the next generation - full of stories and memories. Each piece we make is hand made by the two of us - currently in our driveway, living room, and kitchen (Justin is dripping epoxy onto our kitchen tile as I type this). We didn't think our mid thirties would involve talking wood every weekend at markets, but here we are, loving every minute of it. We love hosting events, and hope to share a little bit of our home with all of you. I have big dreams for this small business, and I'm so excited to welcome you all to our table.
